Sunset on the Spanish Steps

After lunch at Piazza de Populo and during the very hot afternoon hours we hung out at the hotel until it cooled down.

Nearing sunset we walked over to the Spanish Steps which is about a 15 minute walk to have dinner.

Since we met Rick Steves on the train to Rome, we went to one of the restaurants that he recommends in his book.

On the way home we took the Rome metro and Sarah had some fun on the escalators.

Tomorrow we head home. We are traveling home through Frankfurt, which technically makes 6 cities on this trip. Quite a lot to digest.

Sarah seemed to have a great time. I would say she liked Paris the best. Me too. Although I would say I like the Italian food and Paris City the best - to each his own.
