Stroll around Venice

After we got situated in our room, we headed out to stroll around the area by our hotel.

There are a lot of tourists, and Venice seems to be primarily a tourist town in that there are not "local" areas. This is in contrast to Paris and London that have both tourist, local, and hybrid areas.

Tourist focused aside, Sarah reminded me that we are tourists and they are catering to us. To that end, we made it a point to find some Wiener Schnitzel, french fries, and beer. Bingo - they just call it Costeletto Milanese.

One last thing, don't google "sewers in Venice" before you decide to ride one of the gondolas.

The photo with Sarah feeding the pigeons in San Marcos Piazza is the prize winner.
