First Night in Rome
When we arrived in Rome, we went immediately to our hotel, The St. Regis, near the train station. It was brutally hot out, so we relaxed a bit and in the late afternoon headed over the Vatican area to see St. Peter's Basilica and the main piazza there.
Afterwards, we made our way to the Trevi Fountain to do the obligatory coin toss over the shoulder.
We topped off with a dinner next to the Pantheon.
Both if us are very tired and looking forward to some rest soon.
