NJ Ballonfest

Sarah and I were out and about looking for some Sweet Jersey Corn and happened upon the final night of the Jersey Balloonfest. About 50 or so hot air balloons, perhaps more, launch in the morning and early evening.

Depending on the winds, they usually drift over Branchburg. Tonight, the breezes were swirling and balloons seemed to be all over the place. It caused quite a traffic snarl as people were looking at dozens of hot air balloons drift over the highway, sometimes no more than 100 feet high. It is amazing that we did not see any accidents.

We did find some corn. 4 for $1. 2-3 weeks ago it was double that. #end
