Williamsburg

We have been having fun tooling around Colonial Williamsburg.

Last night we attended a witch trial. Sarah and I voted to convict the witch on trial. However, there was no witch burning. Afterwards, we went to Chowning's Tavern for music and drink. Chowning's Tavern Ale was quite tasty - they also use stale bread strips with the soup and cheese pots in lieu of utensils. Sarah got some ribs, but they were not as good as Vicki's

Earlier this morning, Sarah took a respite with Thomas Jefferson (in bronze) when we visited the Williamsburg farmer's market.

Today, we took a horse carriage ride and are about to take a tour of the stables and here how the colonials took care of their equine partners. #end
