Bacon Sundae Night

Tonight I took Heather and her friend Bridget to Burger King for the recently unveiled and infamous Bacon Sundae.

It sounds gross, but the girls said they love ice cream and they love bacon. They are too young to understand that some things don't go together. For example, cotton candy and mayonnaise, Mentos and Diet Coke, or hot fudge on mashed potatoes.

Anyway, I tried this concoction and it tastes like a sundae with bacon. I wouldn't call it gross - just strange. The girls didn't care too much for it either. They said they would rather have the bacon on the side.

Our next bacon adventure will involve using bacon grease as a condiment. That should be fun.

Babydoll, in 14 years, when you turn 18, let's you and me go to Paris and Italy before you head off to college.

You will be bigger and more beautiful, but you will still be my princess.
