Mr. Green Jeans

Vicki, Heather, and I are at the Community Farm where we bought a half share this year.

A local farming family sold about 80 shares for $800 each. I assume that they sell other stuff as well. Anyway with a half-share you get a big bag of veggies. Figure $20/big bag. Not bad if you like veggies.

If they threw in pork bellies and some steaks - we would go for full share.

We will not tolerate intolerance!

A guy walked through the crowd with a sign against Jewish Billionaires and it was very interesting to watch the reaction of the crowd.

No matter how much he was heckled or yelled at, he would not relent.

The protester camp is big about free speech and tolerance, however, the true test of free speech and tolerance is whether it is supported at the fringe. If not, then what is tolerated and what is not is regulated by someone.

Occupy Wall Street

TJ and I made our way to the now infamous Occupy Wall Street protests in NYC.

There are about 2,000-3,000 people camped out in a small park near the World Trade Center site. The park is about the size of a football field.

As best I can tell, most of the people here are hippies - or at least delusional socialists.

For lunch, TJ and I are going to have a gluten-free vegan lunch and listen to why private property should be abolished.
